As a McKinney resident, I have witnessed the growth of Collin County for more than a decade. My wife, Sherry and I moved into the historic district of McKinney twenty years ago because we loved the charm of a small community. Our family has grown along with the North Texas area.  We now have two sons, the oldest is a Freshman at Boyd High School.

Since we moved here, new communities, businesses, expressways, malls, and recreational facilities have sprung up all across Collin County. I believe that the diversity of communities provided by the mix of country charm and new conveniences provides many more choices for families searching for a new home. You can shop the newest and most upscale malls in North Texas or sit down on the curb and watch the annual homecoming parade with the neighbors.
